As we write these words Uruguay and the world are going through a severe pandemic, which is having a deep impact in every aspect of society. Central Banks all over the world are doing as much as they can to help people to get over this calamity and its aftermath, as is the Central Bank of Uruguay. At the same time that we put all our energy into short-term problems, we believe it is important to share these longterm ideas for the day after.
